It is based in hatha vinyasa yoga, but you will also experience a variety of different styles and forms of yoga (Vinyasa, Power, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Restorative, Yin, Kundalini, Bikram, etc.). The experiences you will encounter during this training will also give you the chance to learn how to fully unify the different layers (koshas) of yourself and others. Certification through our Unified Yoga Teacher Training will allow you to evolve your yoga practice and teaching as you change and as yoga styles continue to develop.

Teachers will leave this training with the ability to teach a 1.5 hour vinyasa yoga class as well as the tools to work with students with a variety of different goals and abilities. The core philosophy of our trainings is creating a fun, safe and creative space for future teachers to develop and deepen their yoga teaching. Peak Beings approaches the learning process from many different approaches including communicative, contemplative, and experiential. We welcome students who are looking to teach yoga or who are just looking to deepen their practice. In addition to learning to guide a yoga class we will cover many other topics including yogic philosophy, history, meditation and chanting. DIRECTOR OF YOGA TEACHER TRAINING:

All 200 Hour Unified Yoga Teacher Trainings™ are guided by Troy McPeak, E-RYT. Troy is the owner and founder of Peak Beings Yoga. He has directed over 20 Yoga Teacher Trainings and has certified hundreds of new Yoga Teachers from the school of philosophy of the Unified Yoga Teacher Trainings. He is a 500 Hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (500 E-RYT) through the Yoga Alliance. He has taught around the globe full time for over 10 years with over 7,000 hours of teaching studio yoga classes and directing of Yoga Teacher Trainings. He is currently based in Los Angeles, California, but has traveled and taught yoga to adults and children in many locations around the globe including Costa Rica, Brazil, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Thailand to name a few. Troy is also trained in Tai Chi Chuan, Reiki, and Craniosacral Energy Work. He loves to design his classes to cover a wide range of postures with a combination of quicker and slower movements, allowing the yoga practitioners in his classes the time and place to really be in ‘their’ yoga and to create the space for their yoga experience.

Yoga found Troy when he was at a crossroads in his life and career working as a project manager and engineer on bridge and highway projects throughout the U.S. He decided to take a break from his career to travel, learn more about yoga and deepen his yoga practice. This decision led Troy his first yoga teacher training and eventually to teaching thousands of students in many amazing places around the world.  He is passionate about empowering students and helping them to find a yoga practice that is suitable for them. Yogi Troy is grateful to all of the teachers and students he has encountered on his journey and looks forward to many more.
