Secret Recipe, Nasi Goreng
700g cooked rice4 tbsp sunflower oil
200g chicken, finely chopped (or shrimp)
3 small shallots, minced
2 cloves garlic, without germ, minced
100g finely chopped vegetables (carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms,…)
1 chilli pepper, seeded, minced
1 tbsp salted soy sauce
1 tbsp tomato concentrate
4 eggs, scrambled separately
Salt and pepper
Cooking Time: 10 min approximately
Prepare everything before cooking, because once started, everything goes on.
In a wok, heat the oil, sauté the chicken (or shrimp) briefly, add the shallots and garlic and sauté. Once everything is coloured, add the vegetables and chilli and sauté.
Add the rice, mix well, then add the sauces and tomato paste. Mix well to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Season with salt and pepper to adjust seasoning.
I prefer to prepare the eggs in another pan, then add them to the wok at the end of cooking.
Serve hot and enjoy with a salad or other.
